It is with great sadness that the family of Jeremiah Joseph Jackson announce his passing on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the age of 41 years. Jeremiah was born in Long Beach, CA on February 26, 1979. He attended Millikan and Lakewood High School, received his GED from Bellflower Adult School and completed EduCorp’s Plumbing and HVAC Technician Certification. Jeremiah worked as an HVAC technician for many years but was known by many as the guy who could fix anything. He had a keen ability to self-teach any fixit project that faced him. He married Ashley Jackson (Guthrie) in the year 2007 and they resided in Yucaipa, CA with their two sons Jacob (11) and Dylan (3). Jeremiah cherished his sons and would praise their achievements to others at any possible opportunity. Family and friends were very important to him and he would never hesitate to go out of his way to help. He enjoyed spending time at the family desert cabin in Wonder Valley, which often included entertaining others with his pyrotechnics. Jeremiah was an amazing father, caring friend, and overall a BIG-hearted person. Jeremiah was loved by many and although he is gone too soon, he will never be forgotten.
Jeremiah will be loving remembered by his wife Ashley and sons Jacob and Dylan; mother and stepfather, Lisa and Dave Ott; stepbrother and niece, Michael and Kylie Ott; grandmother, Joan Ostrander; aunt and uncle, Patreece and Don Coburn; uncle, Doug Ostrander; cousins, Jeff and Andy Coburn; and in-laws Dina and Jim Guthrie.
