Nick Ptasznik Obituary

Nick Ptasznik, 90 of Fountain Valley, California departed this world for heaven on January 13, 2019.  The memorial service to celebrate his life will be determined at a future date.

Nick was born to John and Magdalena Ptasznik on April 15th, 1928 and was raised in Couderay, Wisconsin.

Nick moved to California after high school and joined the US Air Force from 1950 to 1954.  Nick married Beth Elston in 1954 and in 1964 the family moved to Fountain Valley, California.  Nick attended Los Angeles State College and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He held several Engineering jobs including working on testing equipment for the Apollo program.  He retired in 1988 from Hughes Aircraft after 20 years of service.

Nick was actively involved with motorcycling, gun clubs and regularly served at Fountain Valley First Christian Church. 

Nick was preceded in death by his parents John and Magdalena Ptasznik and his siblings Ann Pichowicz, Francis Majeski and Helen Rice and his wife Beth Ptasznik.

Nick is also survived by his children Lonnie Ptasznik, Randy Ptasznik, and Steve Ptasznik; and daughter-in-law, Patti Ptasznik; grandchildren Brent Ptasznik and Andrea Ptasznik and great granddaughter Abigail Medina.
