We got to know Chuck at the Leisure World bridge clubs. We called him "Chuckles" because he always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He also was a very good bridge player. When he lost his right arm due to the somewhat rare cancer he had, his smile, his attitude and his whole approach to life never changed. He never talked about his cancer until a call I made to him several months before his passing and he knew that he was up against something that was going to be very difficult to beat. He will be missed greatly, not only by my wife and me, but a lot of people at Leisure World.. Our prayer is that he will find peace, happiness and lots of old and many new friends in his new home in God's kingdom.
