WILLIAM RONALD CRANE
“RON”

Passed away in his sleep peacefully on December 31st, 2017. Beloved and devoted

husband madly in love with Elaine his wife for 37 years, father, grandfather born in

Bellflower, Ca. to Elaine P. Crane and William A. Crane. Ron grew up with the love of

cars and mechanics. Attending Rancho High School in Garden Grove, Ron excelled at

track n field as well as the social scene. Ron was drafted for the Vietnam war, while

completing Army basic training and tank mechanics; his father passed away in 1966.

Ron was honorary discharged and jumped right in the family retail tire business. In

order to understand the business world, Ron graduated from Cal State Long Beach with

a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Ron used these skills to navigate successfully

Bi-County Tire Corporation from 1966 to 2005. Ron’s love for helping and caring for

people showed in his business and his friendships throughout his life! In retirement,

Ron loved spending time with his grandkids Brooke and Kyle as well as his family. Ron

loved car shows and showing off his 1927 Ford Model T. Ron is survived by his wife

Elaine, his son Jason and wife Petra, his daughter Farrah, his stepson Shane, his

stepdaughter Amanda and her husband Jason with his grandkids Brooke and Kyle.

Celebration of Ron’s life @ 1842 Pine St. Huntington Beach

on Sunday 12 pm 1/7/17. A graveside service at The Riverside National Cemetery will take place at a later date. Date and time are currently pending.
