Lloyd Arthur Budwig

In Loving Memory of

Lloyd A Budwig, D.D.S., born August 15 1931, in Pender Nebraska, passed away April 17, 2017.  He moved to Los Angeles California in 1941 and progressed through public school with graduation from South Gate High School in 1949. His education at Compton College was interrupted by a tour of duty in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  In 1956 he earned an Associate in Arts degree at Compton College then moved on to University of Southern California to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in 1959 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1961.  During this time he met and married his wife of 57 years Evelyn.

After graduation, he established he dental practice in Costa Mesa and the family eventually move to Huntington Beach where they raised their three children: Rex, Bonnie and Eric.

Lloyd was involved in many organizations including: Orange County Dental Society, President 1990, Huntington Beach Masonic Lodge WM1970, Seaside Chapter Order of Eastern Star WP many different times, Kiwanis in Costa Mesa President 1981, and Orange County California Genealogy Society where he was Treasurer for many years.

Lloyd is survived by his wife Evelyn, three children Rex, Bonnie and Eric, daughter-in-law Jean and grandchildren Nathaniel and Hillary.

Because of Lloyd’s many and varied interests the family would like to request that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the charity nearest and dearest to your heart.
