Barbara Jean Brockmann

Barbara was born November 13, 1925, in Long Beach, California to Clyde and Mabel Adkisson. She graduated from Excelsior High School in 1943 and attended Compton Junior College. On a blind date in 1945 she met the love of her life William Jean Brockmann. Two weeks after their first date they were engaged and three months later they were happily married. They lived in Bellflower, California where they had three children: Dan, Sandi, and Heidi, and later moved to Huntington Beach where they had their fourth child, Tami. Barbara was continuously involved in breaking ground in the pro life movement, and a deep lover of Jesus, her family, the beach, and crocheting. She passed peacefully in her home on May 24, 2017 just five years and two days after her love went to be with Jesus. Barbara is survived by her three daughters Sandi, Heidi, and Tami, as well as her 13 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren. 

Celebration of Life to be held at Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa at 11 am in the fellowship hall. 3800 S Fairview Rd. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Save the Storks or any Pro Life Organization that promotes saving unborn babies from being aborted.
